Multiple Falls at Assisted Living Facility

Joel suffered multiple falls while a resident at an Assisted Living Facility. The facility failed to provide the proper assistance when Joel was transporting from his room to the cafeteria. The facility had a history of falls and understaffing, having been cited by the California Department of Public Health several times during Joel’s residency. Joel suffered several facial contusions from his fourth fall at the facility. Defendant settled the case shortly after filing.
