Stage 3 and 4 Pressure Sores (Bedsores)

We initiated litigation against multiple facilities involving the provision of care across a 2-year span. Robin was a dependent adult with serious cognitive decline and early onset dementia. Not only did staff at several facilities fail to reposition and turn her, causing multiple Stage 3 and 4 pressure sores (bedsores), but they also failed to bathe her, failed to change Robin’s diapers in a timely manner, failed to ensure that she ate adequately, and failed to monitor her water intake causing a UTI and kidney infection.
