Bedsore Case at Nursing Facility

Georgia was a long-term resident at a nursing facility. She developed a bedsore on her sacrococcyx (tail bone) that went untreated for 16 days. The facility was severely understaffed, pocketing over $1 million alone in the year Georgia was a resident. We also uncovered five-star Medicare fraud. This case settled over 6 months prior to trial.
